Alexandra Trovato
b. 1993
Alexandra Trovato is best known for using her photographs to capture images of her cultural upbringing and transform them into abstract compositions reflective of her fragmented and image-manipulated paintings.
Her creative career temporarily engaged in makeup application in 2018; however, after an eye-opening oil painting workshop in 2019, she experienced a pivotal shift toward art, with her practice inspired by the evolving investigation of cultural identity.
Trovato has exhibited in four local community group exhibitions and lives with her husband in Perth, Western Australia.
